A thigh lift is generally indicated in massive weight loss patients who have excess skin fold in the medial inner thigh causing rubbing of the skin, leading to skin rashes and difficulty performing normal activities.

Procedure

A vertical thigh lift can be performed along with liposuction of fat. Resection of excess tissue results in a long scar over the inner side of thigh extending from pubic area to the inner side of the knee. This results in tightening and reshaping of the thigh.

After your surgery

Postoperative care: Patient is put on compressive garments for a few weeks. He / She is advised to avoid standing / sitting for long hours and ambulate only for short periods until healing occurs.
